Atlanta's Favorite Variety Show
Celebrating the music, arts, & changemakers of the South from Atlanta.
Think of it as the love child between the Ed Sullivan Show and A Prairie Home Companion.
PODCAST #107 with opera singer Jayme Alilaw & www.the2180.com Appalachian Trail storyteller Andrew Iden is up!
We were pleased as punch to host the incredible MINTON SPARKS from Nashville, TN. Described as a cross between Flannery O'Connor and Hank Williams, or maybe a backwoods Lucinda Williams, she's a treasure to behold. She's been on the Grand Ole Opry, performed alongside Maya Angelou & Kay Gibbons, and served as teller-in-residence at the Jonesborough National Storytelling Festival. Alongside her was the outstanding House Band & baritone guitarist ALEX GORDON, improv comedy stylings from VILLAGE THEATRE, trumpeter-composer-singer JASON COLLIER, ANDREA COLBURN & MUD MOSELEY, painter and streetfolk artist BLACKCATTIPS, student-activist ANNABETTE VELLINES, and JUST BAKERY who is making a difference in food and the lives of refugees.
Listen to LIVE show from Sat. Jan. 27. Links below to all acts!

Our live shows are once-in-a-lifetime and an event you don't wanna miss. Folks have called it "A Southern Home Companion" without the glassified guy who sings. See what they mean...
Ear Candy that's better than radio - that's what these are. Great bite-sized pieces of amazing Southerners you can listen to with your family, in the car, or while at work - online or downloaded. Maybe you know someone we should hear?...
